Security Site Reliability Engineer (DevSecOps Engineer) Location: London Southwark, The Speechmark Building (Full-time remote working during COVID-19) Salary: Competitive Salary + Benefits Hours: 37.5 Mon-Fri COVID-19 Notice: We are continuing recruitment and have implemented new processes that promote candidate and employee safety. What will you be doing? We are looking for a Security Site Reliability Engineer who will be responsible for ensuring the security profile of our application portfolio, toolset, and platform, as well as helping to drive improvements and enhancements to our security practises. We're leading the way across Vodafone in transforming the way we deliver our solutions.Our SRE team will be key players in that transformation, ensuring that the performance and availability of our cloud platforms are world class so that our delivery teams and customers always have an exceptional experience. This role will require someone with an accomplished background in secure software engineering, with strong exposure to cloud platform security practises. A passion for building secure world-class infrastructure and tooling in terms of reliability, scalability, and accessibilitywill beparamount. Who are we looking for? * A talented security site reliability engineer who is passionate about DevSecOps * An individual who loves an environment focused on software engineering practice excellence, code reviews and regular pairing * Excellent communication skills, as well as being happy to collaborate with others, guiding and mentoring where needed * A good background in coding in any two of Ruby, Python, React, Node.js, JavaScript, Clojure, Java, Scala, Go or C# * A strong background with CI/CD pipelines and security related tooling (Blackduck, Qualys etc...) * An avid problem solver with a background in systems design, architecture and compliance.
