If so, NSL are currently recruiting for a Civil Enforcement Officer to be based at our Arun office What you will be doing... Our Civil Enforcement Officers are the eyes and ears of the local community, patrolling areas, providing advice to residents, and members of the public, whist enforcing road traffic orders and issuing parking fines. You will play a significant role in reducing traffic congestion and improving air quality through the enforcement of parking restrictions. Being a Civil Enforcement Officer is about being approachable, knowledgeable and helpful. You'll need energy and stamina as you will be on your feet all day in all weathers helping you to keep fit and keeping our town moving. The role operates on a shift basis with start and finish times varying between 7:30 and 20:00 and also includes some weekend working on a rolling roster. Bank holidays are optional but paid at an enhanced rate. What you will need... You must enjoy dealing with people, be friendly polite, and willing to offer support, advice and assistance to colleagues and customers. PC skills would also be an advantage as you will be using a handheld device daily, but full training is provided.
