Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Gynaecology Division as the Clinical Practice Educator. This is a 12 month Fixed Term/Secondment for anyone who has a passion for education, training and achieving clinical excellence with staff. This position requires you to work with all departments across the Gynaecology Division including the Hewitt Fertility Centre, identifying learning needs of each area and then facilitating in order for them to meet their needs The post holder will be responsible for delivering mandatory training requirements of the division, monitor and ensure budget control is maintained, and provide a programme of clinical skills for staff. Excellent communication skills are essential in order to teach at different levels of abilities. Adaptability and organisation skills are other key elements to the role. These will ensure all staff receive a fair opportunity to access training and support them on their individual career pathways. The role plays an integral part in the Senior Nurse team within the Gynaecology Division to ensure the vision and values of the Trust are maintained.
