Job Description
Support Workers £10.00 per hour (Subject to Pay Review) Various hours available including Full and Part Time opportunities Leeds Learning Disability Services - Benedicts, Wetherby (The initial hourly rate during probation will be £9.85p/h increasing to £10.00p/h upon passing probation) Hours to be worked over 7 days or on the basis of 3 long days per week - e.g 3x12.5 hour shifts or 3x13.5 hour shifts, flexible approach can be discussed. (You would have 4 days off per week) The service is located centrally in Wetherby which has excellent public transport links from all nearby areas. We are looking for Support Workers to join our service in Wetherby, which provides nursing care to clients with physical and learning disabilities. This is a well-established and highly regarded service, located within picturesque grounds and recently rated Good in all areas by CQC. You will work within a supportive and welcoming team which includes domestic staff, support workers and nurses. Your role will be to provide care and support to people in all areas of their lives including all aspects of personal care and being involved in the local community. You need to demonstrate values of kindness, compassion, dignity and respect. You will be supported by a programme of continuous training and development.
