Job Description

Head of Production Planning and Materials Procurement Plymouth To £40,000 Working in the glorious South West of England on the edge of Dartmoor National Park, my client is arguably the world leading systems provider of enclosures, power distribution, climate control, IT infrastructure and software & services. At present they are looking to hire a Head of Production Planning and Materials Procurement to join their team. Looking after a team of 6 people with additional scope to represent the company at the international HQ your role will focus on * Procurement of production material ensuring continuity of material supply * Working with key stakeholders to ensure all in-bound material flow systems and processes are optimised and fit for purpose * Control stock level and material availability for purchase parts * Plan and schedule delivery dates (SAP, APO) * Ensure Customer service level for Standard Products * Continuous improvement of processes and systems * Training and development of the current team Qualification and skills Ideally MCIPS, APICS or similar qualification Experience of working in a manufacturing environment Proven leader with excellent communication skills both to team members and internal and external stakeholders and clients Strong IT skills with excellent understanding of SAP, MRP, ERP, SIOP My client is keen to begin the interview process next week so if this is of interest or if you would like a confidential discussion about your career please email simon.hawes@manpow
