What you'll do In this role, you support and co-ordinate the implementation of new MES system(s) to support Manufacturing Execution and Operations in many of the manufacturing sites of Biopharma business. You will partner with the Manufacturing Operations and Supply Chain teams and other functions to develop a clear and descriptive set of outcomes aligned to business priorities to deliver product features and functions by balancing customer need with business strategy, minimized defects, and technical debt. The IT Supply Chain team is a growing team and wants to make a difference on the manufacturing floor. The team is driving a supported vision of building an end to end manufacturing MES system. + Serves as liaison to functional process owners in order to translate, prioritize requirements for assigned area project and maintenance work for the Manufacturing Operations functional area for MES applications and other manufacturing operations apps. + Partners with other Global Supply Chain (GSC) IT business analysts, Advanced Manufacturing Centers of Excellence, manufacturing facilities, 3rd party application vendors to understand the business processes, determine the technology, configuration and integration needed to realize business goals, objectives. + Translate functional needs in to global platform requirements. + Support New Software development, and Production Support Teams in assessing both short- and long-term impacts of the requested changes. + Own the MES product roadmap and its integration into a strategic roadmap for Manufacturing operations including other MFG applications like OEE, Machine Maintenance. + Engage continuously with customers and stakeholders to understand their business goals and motivating factors + Engage continuously with the vendor to understand their roadmap and upcoming features + Own the product backlog; continuously groom and prioritize to ensure that an agreed scope is always ready to move into development + Lead the product development; facilitate discussions, provide clarification, story acceptance and refinement, testing and validation; owner of functional or technical product design + Understand and follow the prescribed governance process and development methodology for product development Who you are + Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or related technical discipline or equivalent. + Extensive experience in business analysis and requirements gathering. + Knowledge of shop floor manufacturing applications. + Knowledge of project management methodologies (like ITIL). + Knowledge of Software Development Practices. + Experience in mentoring and managing contractor-staffed teams both locally and globally with teams in multiple time zones. + Excellent written and verbal communication skills + Strong Business Analysis skills and ability to translate requirements to enterprise software features + Experience leading teams in a formal software development lifecycle environment following a formal project management and governance process + Ability to execute multiple projects simultaneously + Ability to explain issues and resolutions to technical and non-technical staff + Full system development life cycle hands-on understanding: analysis, designing, coding, testing, performance tuning and documentation + Skilled in negotiation to align stakeholders and communicate a single synthesized perspective to the team.
