Job Description

The FinTech is a venture-funded with the aim of making up-to-date data on SMEs available to third parties. They are a team of 20 and growing rapidly whilst also being passionate about their mission. The client believes their Engineers are central to their success in achieving these goals. Due to this they place high importance on attitude and future potential. The back-end architecture is built on modern .NET, utilising the latest C# 7 features, and is hosted on Microsoft Azure . The system is service-based, and leverages Azure Service Bus, SQL Server and Blob storage to ingest and process large amounts of data reliably and efficiently. The front-end is built in a mixture of Angular and React , and this part of the platform is constantly evolving with new technologies. The client places emphasis on continuous integration and continuous testing. They also practise TDD as testing is always very important to their process - there is a consistent strive for unit and end-to-end test coverage. The teamwork using Agile methodology, currently using a loose "Scrumban" style of work. Most importantly they are pragmatic - with their users being at the heart of all our technical decisions. The essentials * 3+ years of commercial experience * Experience of C# * Experience of .Net Core | Web API or similar web technologies * Azure Beneficial additional skills * Experience working for a startup or small company * Experience working with: o ASP.NET WebAPI o Javascript / Angular.js / React o Azure o MS Service bus or similar messaging platform o NoSQL/SQL Server
