Job Description
The Estee Lauder Companies is currently recruiting for an Executive HR Manager (8 Month FTC - MATERNITY COVER) to join and lead an experienced and committed team at Whitman Laboratories where we manufacture many of the Estee Lauder Companies top selling products. This is a key role in the HR department and will work closely with the VP EMEA SC HRBP to carry out strategic projects at both the site and EMEA level. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and directing the Human Resources, Learning and Development, Occupational Health and Reception functions, ensuring that a strategic and proactive service is supplied to the business. By doing so you will be helping us continue our exciting journey of innovation, change and transformation. Key Responsibilities include: * Lead the HR, L&D, OH and Reception teams, providing the vision, strategy and the rationale for any change. Hold ultimate decision making authority for the department. * Provide a proactive, intuitive and commercially-aware people management strategy that matches plant business objectives. * Ensure harmonious employee relations at all levels of the organisation through consistency in application of policy and expertise in legal compliance; whilst providing maximum agility and flexibility to the business. * Establish, review and control reward programmes which are competitive but also ensure internal equity and support the attraction and retention of high calibre candidates. * Manage and develop the overall talent management strategy. This includes workforce planning; talent acquisition; learning and development; performance management; and succession planning. * Facilitate the constant review of business structures and organisational development. * Oversee the department budgets and maintain accountability for spending. * Manage key agency, bus and canteen contracts with third party suppliers. * Proactively protect the environment, health and safety of themselves and everyone around them. * Oversea the sites inclusion and diversity programmes. * Work with the site Lead Team to develop strategic action plans and to make decisions on the staff and wider plant initiatives. * Work with the VP EMEA SC HRBP to lead strategic projects. * University Degree * Significant experience of leading a HR function *
