We currently have 33bn Assets Under Management and are still growing. This role is with Rowanmoor Executive Pensions Limited, part of the Embark Group. What you'll do In your role as Pensions Team Leader in Salisbury, you will work in a supportive, friendly working environment and be part of a great team. Our Team Leaders work closely with the Client Portfolio Team Manager within the Pension Administration team in order to provide solutions to business requirements. You will assist with daily operational responsibility to manage and support a Pensions Administration Team whilst working with the Client Portfolio Team Manager so that business, departmental and individual objectives are achieved whilst ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and Company governance standards. You will provide internal and external customers with an efficient service and good customer outcomes. Key Accountabilities Once trained you will be responsible for providing a full pension administration service for your own portfolio of clients. In this fast-paced environment your duties will include: * Manage a portfolio of Schemes/Plans, taking on more complex and/or difficult cases where required. * Ensure own work is processed in accordance with SLAs and internal deadlines. Assist Line Manager to monitor and manage Team work flow and resource allocation. * Promote the culture, conduct & behaviours required to support good customer outcomes, setting an example to the team at all times. * Support Line Manager to direct, manage and support a team to deliver high quality performance, in line with business and departmental aims. * Ensure that own and team members' working practices comply with regulatory, compliance and legislative requirements. * Awareness of and adherence to Company/Departmental and product specific procedures and policies, working by example in line with Company values. * Contribute technical expertise where required and continuously maintain and apply specialist and detailed technical expertise and the understanding of different organisational departments and functions. * Maintain an awareness of HMRC, FCA, TPR & legislative practices and changes relating to all pension administration and business products ensuring all legislative and reporting deadlines are met. * Contribute to change whilst maintaining a positive can-do attitude. Complete a range of other ad hoc duties or tasks to ensure deliverables are met. Deputise in Team Manager's absence, seeking support from SIPP Operations Director where required. As well as this, you will need to have: * At least 3 years experience in an operational role with previous experience of managing a portfolio of member-directed Schemes/Plans with strong technical expertise in all areas of SSAS/SIPP/FPT. * Ability to remain calm under pressure, whilst meeting quality standards and deadlines. * Able to build strong working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. Possess a sound knowledge of Company products and the financial services sector, in particular member-directed pensions. * Technical expertise in all areas of SSAS/SIPP/FPT and previous experience of managing a portfolio of member-directed schemes. * Current knowledge and understanding of FCA regulations, HMRC and TPR regulations and legislative practices, demonstrating an understanding of how these impact on member-directed pension schemes. * Strong communication and listening skills with the ability to be flexible whilst maintaining a committed approach to the organisation. * Set high standards for quality and quantity and work in a systematic, methodical and orderly way. * Strong numeracy, literacy skills and sound knowledge of all Microsoft Applications. * Minimum GCSE Maths & English grade C or equivalent.
