Job Description

There is an exciting opportunity to join the mental health team at HMP Lancaster Farms and to lead a team of multi-disciplinary professionals.You will be required to be an innovative, flexible and enthusiastic team leader ensuring the effective delivery of evidence based and person-centered care. The suitable candidate's will be experienced to provide both clinical leadership and carry a small caseload as well as operational management of the service. Strong team working principles are essential and you will work in partnership with local and regional agencies, including the National Offender Management Services (NOMs), Specialised Commissioning Teams (NHS England), Healthcare Professionals, an array of Healthcare Providers, Service Users, Families, and other supporting individuals and agencies. The post is based at HMP Lancaster Farms with an expectation to travel into our other prisons in the North West (HMP Preston, HMP Haverigg & HMP Kirkham) when required as well as attend meetings in the North East.
