Job Description
What we're looking for: Here at Green Flag, we're turning our brands into digital leaders and we're on the lookout for a Lead Product Owner to be part of our journey. Determined and highly motivated, you'll be responsible for the agile delivery and optimisation of digital products that help to differentiate our brands from the market. You won't be afraid to tackle a challenge head on and you'll be passionate about driving the team forward to achieve our end goal. Communicating and collaborating effectively will come naturally to you and you'll have a real burning desire to inspire those around you with your "can do" mentality. We're looking for a true subject matter expert who can remove blockers, solve problems and make decisions with ease. Who you'll be working with: You'll manage coach and develop a high performing team of 10 Product Owners as well as working side by side with the rest of the Digital department. What you'll be doing: * Manage and build a resilient and high-performing team who are capable of understanding and delivering on the Digital vision and strategy, creating a culture of continuous improvement and career progression ownership. * Support the team/SME strategy that satisfies the needs of the organisation as well as the individuals within the team for their own discipline including future roadmaps, innovation and R&D. * Responsible for working with and influencing relevant stakeholders across the business, ensuring the appropriate level of stakeholder engagement capability also exists within their own teams. * Support the relationship with 3rd parties (software engineering) working on Digital projects, ensuring 3rd party deliveries are formally scoped, and delivery is within budget and to agreed milestones and quality plans. * Support and advise peers (application delivery managers, architects, business analysts etc) to ensure the proposed solution fits with the overall system design principles and requirements are delivered.
