Our client is a very established manufacturing company and due to their continued success Staffbase have been appointed to recruit for the position of Maintenance Engineer (Electrical bias). The successful candidate will undertake planned and reactive electrical and mechanical maintenance duties at our client's factory in Wolverhampton. We are seeking electrical bias engineer with previous manufacturing maintenance experience to perform a Monday to Friday days based maintenance engineer role. The Role: Reporting to the Director you will be responsible for the day to day electrical and mechanical maintenance, service and repair of production plant & machinery associated with a busy plastics processing and manufacturing plant. You will be required to maintain equipment including but not limited to the following; * Recycling machinery including granulators, conveyors, mixers * Extrusion machines * Conversion equipment * 3-phase electrical fault find and repair motors, pumps, contactors, switch gear, sensors, relays, inverters, drives etc etc * Electrical control panels and plc inputs / outputs * Heating and cooling plant & equipment * Facilities maintenance * Project work as and when required Candidate: You will have at least 5 years previous manufacturing maintenance experience electrical and mechanical. You will be electrical bias engineer with strong 3-phase electrical fault find and repair skills. Ideally you will be competent with plc inputs / outputs diagnostics etc etc. You will hold some form of electrical competent / training certification e.g. HNC, ONC, or NVQ 3 electrical engineering. You will be hard working, enthusiastic and highly motivated. Hours of Work: Monday to Friday (Days) Benefits: Competitive Basic salary negotiable 28 days annual leave Pension
