Overview

If so, then this could be the ideal role for what you are looking for. We are recruiting for an electrically biased Maintenance Engineer to join a fast paced, production facility near Wolverhampton. The role will involve a 3 on 3 off shift pattern days and nights, with a competitive salary and benefits package. Benefits: £39,000 basic salary Free onsite parking Competitive company pension Cycle to work scheme Employee discount scheme Duties of a Maintenance Engineer: Maintaining all equipment on site to a very high standard including conveyors, packing machines, pressure systems and cooling towers. Working on reactive break downs at a fast pace to reduce downtime. Working on planned preventive maintenance tasks. Checking all machinery frequently to try and prevent a breakdown by changing parts that are very worn. Adhering to health and safety regulations at all times. Communicating will all members of the team including engineers, managers and production staff. Experience required of the Maintenance Engineer: Be an experienced engineer within FMCG Engineering qualifications which could be either NVQ, BTEC, Degree or HND in engineering. Production facility experience within an engineering role. Proven experience with processing equipment. Competent in electrical maintenance engineering. Experience with working on PLC controls. Experience with reactive and planned preventive maintenance. The ability to work alone and as part of a team.
