Type of vacancy Permanent Work pattern Full Time - Term Time Only Location including post code Norbridge Academy, Stanley Street, Worksop, S81 7HX Salary or Hourly Rate NJE Grade 3, Points 5-7: 18,795 - 19,554 (pro rata) Advert text We are seeking to appoint an experienced teaching assistant. We are looking for someone who can enhance our happy and successful environment, where high expectations and a commitment to the development of the whole child is paramount. The successful candidate would need to be proactive, committed and self-motivated. We are looking for a teaching assistant who has: * A Level 3 Qualification or equivalent * A proven track record of working with children * Positive strategies to support children with additional needs * Strong English and maths skills, plus excellent communication skills * A patient, flexible and innovative approach It would be advantageous to also have: * Experience of supporting children with autism and/or sensory needs * Experience of teaching whole classes In return we offer: * A hard working and dedicated team * Children who are well behaved, motivated and eager to learn * A commitment to Continued Professional Development * A supportive and ambitious Governing Body The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
