Job Description
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital Clinical Engineering team as a Clinical Engineering Technician and Laser Officer. This is a new role that has been created to provide the Trust with expertise in three specialities. The post-holder will undertake to provide a comprehensive support service for specialist medical equipment and devices for the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital NHS Trust, covering patient connected equipment such as life support, diagnostic, analytical, monitoring, treatment and therapy equipment. As post holder you will be the designated laser protection officer, with a working knowledge of the control of artificial optical radiation at work regulations 2010. You will undertake quality assurance testing on Ultrasound equipment. Voluntary partaking in the On Call Rota covering 24/7.
