Job Description

** Fixed term contract / secondment opportunity for 22 Months ** Norfolk and Norwich University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is embarking on a very exciting journey and is taking its first step in becoming a digital hospital. The Trust has recently awarded two contracts for the provision of an Electronic Document Management (EDM) Solution and Outsourced Scanning Services. We will be digitising our existing paper health records and implementing an EDM Solution which will allow for our records to be accessed electronically, without the constraints of an actual paper file. Through the introduction and deployment of an EDMS, it will bring about new ways of working for our clinical and non-clinical staff and therefore the need and establishment of a Digital Health Transformation and Change Team. The Digital Health Change Leads will be responsible for leading the Transformation and Change within the organisation. Working closely with the Divisional leads and Specialities, the post-holder will establish relationships, remove barriers and the resistance towards change to ensure that the new ways of working is safe and risk free. This exciting role will include the line management of the Digital Health Change Agents whilst reporting to the Digital Health Transformation and Benefits Realisation Manager.The post holder will lead the Change, Benefits Realisation, Communications and Training for the Electronic Document Management Solution (EDMS) Programme as part of the overall delivery of the Trust's Digital Health Strategy. The post holder will be establish and subsequently lead the change programme for a number of specialties. This innovative and specialist work will include management and running of change workshops, analysing inpatient and outpatient work practices, recommending changes to process to achieve increased efficiency and enhanced effectiveness. This will include recording GAPs and lessons learnt whilst supporting the delivery of cost improvement plans (CIPs). The post holder will lead on working with staff at the point of care, middle office, clinical and senior management to optimise Trust activities. Part of the role will be presenting to senior management teams on changes in the service. The post-holder will have line management responsibilities of the Digital Change Agents and will work jointly with the Digital Health Transformation and Benefits Realisation Manager and EDMS Programme Manager.
