Our newly restructured Acute Trauma Floor in Glasgow Royal Infirmary needs 2 Band 5 Registered Nurses to join our enthusiastic and skilled team. We have a reputation for being friendly and welcoming, whilst operating in a busy environment. The Orthopaedic Unit in Glasgow Royal Infirmary delivers a varied range of specialist surgeries for fractures/injuries and elective orthopaedic surgery for the North of Glasgow. The unit comprises of 60 Trauma Receiving, 27 Elective beds and Fracture and Orthopaedic clinics, these posts are based the Trauma Receiving wards. We are a close multidisciplinary team and work collaboratively across the unit. It is essential you are a Registered Adult Nurse with current NMC registration, some acute experience and an interest in Orthopaedic nursing. Hours are 37.5 hours per week full time, working a 12 hour shift pattern over 7 day, including night shifts and Public Holidays.
