Job Description
KM Recruitment is a specialist UK wide recruiter for the Work Based Learning and Welfare to Work sectors. Job Title: Career Development Assessor / Trainer Location: London Salary: £28,000 - £35,000 Package: Excellent Holiday Entitlement, Pension, Mileage + much more! Type: Full Time, Permanent KM are pleased to extend this opportunity to Career Guidance professionals who hold their own Level 6 qualification (or above), who are keen to become an Assessor within this specialist vocation. This exciting new role will see the successful candidate working with Schools and other educational establishments, supporting fellow Career Guidance Professionals through a sector specialist qualification in 'Career Development Professional' Duties: * Train, assess and support a caseload of learners working towards the Career Development Professional (New Standard) at level 6. * To embed and provide additional support for Functional Skills - Maths and English up to level 2. * Managing your diary efficiently to ensure timely visits and reviews are conducted. * Organise and maintain documentation on learners' progress. * Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner's needs. * Work to learner review and completion timescales. * Assessors are expected to work closely with the sales/business development team to secure and pass on new learner leads / secure new starts in order to maintain caseload. Essential Criteria: * Must hold own Careers Guidance qualification at level 6 or above approved by the Career Development Institute. * Must hold solid occupational experience within Career Guidance (e.g. Career Advisor/Coach, IAG Coach / Advisor, Employability Advisor). * Full, clean UK driving licence and own vehicle. * Must be flexible with travel. Personal Skills: * Organisational skills are a must, as well as the ability to plan your time effectively. * Confident and professional with the ability to inspire and motivate people. * Quality driven and prepared to go the extra mile for your learners.
