Our strategy to become more digitally focused has already seen the acquisition of two digital asset management companies to build on our existing digital capabilities from the Arcadis technology division, all of which will form the foundations of this new digital entity. 1. The Opportunity The Maximo Systems Integration Consultant focuses on delivering integration requirements ensuring business processes can flow end to end across different systems within any given Maximo solution estate. They will have previous experience integrating Maximo into financial, HR, materials management and other systems understanding best practice approaches to delivering integrations using the Maximo Integration Framework. Core responsibilities include: Maximo Integration Development and Configuration: Building new integration functionality based upon User Stories / Features defined in JIRA and Confluence. They will use their understanding of the Maximo framework in terms of custom MBOs, Userexits, JSON, Object Structures, Skip Rules, Event Filters, Publish Channels, External Systems, Cron Jobs, Escalations, Notifications, Application Import, JMS, etc. Technical Design : They will also get involved in integration technical design at an early stage in an implementation translating high level design goals into lower level technical designs with clear, concise and lean documentation. Story Estimation : Adding storypoint estimates against configuration activities (user stories, features or improvements) and ensuring the assigned storypoints are delivered according to the Spint schedule. Collobaration: The Maximo System Integrations Consultant works closely with the Technical Architect and Scrum Master to ensure they contribute effectively to current and upcoming sprints. 2. Key Deliverables Well defined lean technical documentation which supports creating technical tasking (JIRAs as improvements, user stories, features) Assist with a prioritised backlog High quality code and data artefacts alongside unit tests etc. Well-constructed and documented configuration 3. Key Relationships, Collaborations and Connections This role will report to one of the Solution Architect within the Solution Architect and Technical Delivery sub domain It will collaborate closely with other sub domains with the Solutions Domain and Infrastructure Engineering Services: o Project Managers o Technical Architects o Solution Architects o Infrastructure Engineers o Scrum Masters o Industry Solution Principals, Professionals and Associates o Scrum Team Members 4. What We Are Looking For The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, worked with IBM Maximo and have a very good understand of all elements within the application stack. Requirements Fluent in English Language Graduate education in a relevant degree or subsequent applicable work history Java programming and configuration experience gained from at least 4 years relevant professional experience working with IBM Maximo; specifically focusing on the MIF implementation. Experience working within the rail, infrastructure, utility and similar industry Experience integrating with ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, MS Dynamics, Other). Excellent understanding of the financial, materials and work management business domains Excellent SQL and query tuning knowledge using of these RDBMS: DB2, Oracle and SQL Server Experience of building Integration using web services/APIs; REST or SOA Solid understanding of networking and application infrastructure; DNS, Active Directory, TCP-IP, HTTPS, Timeouts, Web Servers (Apache, HAProxy, IIS etc) Desirable Experience and Qualifications Experience of agile methodology: SCRUM and Continuous Integration Experience using project collaboration tools such as Atlassian Confluence & JIRA Experience creating unit tests, mocks, Selenium e2e tests, etc. Excellent written and oral presentation skills, including conveying technical informat
