Job Description

Treasury Technical Manager Purpose of the role The overall purpose of the role is to assist the Group Treasurer in achieving and delivering the financial resource management objectives of the Treasury function. What will you be doing? Responsibilities are wide and varied including: Ensuring Treasury deliverables (e.g. Medium Term Plan, Internal Stress Test and funding plan) to Board, Board Risk Committee and Board Audit Committee are met. In some cases, this will be a facilitation role between Treasury functions, in other cases this the technical manager will be responsible for the content Secretary to the Group Treasury Committee responsible for agenda setting, technical content and helping to deliver the Committee's governance objectives Assisting the Treasurer to prepare for internal and external stakeholder engagement e.g. drafting external speeches and preparing background technical materials for key meetings e.g. with the Bank of England and PRA Assisting or running ad hoc Treasury projects What we're looking for: Treasury technical knowledge and general financial literacy Excellent written and verbal communications skills Proven ability to multitask and meet time sensitive deadlines Attention to detail and strong organisational skills Proven ability to manage senior stakeholders Proven ability to build and leverage a network across the bank Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) Ability to work independently Excellent team working style Our Values Everything we do is shaped by the five values of Respect, Integrity, Service, Excellence and Stewardship.
