Job Description
Barracuda Networks, a leading provider of Email Protection, Network and Application Security, and Data Protection. Our dedicated MSP division called Barracuda MSP, has been growing at a record pace since launching the international expansion in March 2016, allowing us to rapidly expand our SaaS platform to include a comprehensive suite of products aimed squarely at the MSP channel. POSITION OVERVIEW: As a Solutions Engineer, you will work closely with our sales team to build opportunities and close business by providing technical pre-sales support for our SaaS, cloud-based business continuity platform during sales calls, product demonstrations and implementations. You will work with our partner's technical resource to assess their needs and address questions about Barracuda product functionality in discovery and roadmap calls during installs and upgrades. The Solutions Engineer will also assist our partners technical team in developing their knowledge of the Barracuda MSP portfolio to support day-to-day operations and keep ahead of new product releases while providing insight on partner's technical requirements, new usage patterns and feature requests back to our Sales and Account Management teams. Responsibilities: * Deliver informative and engaging product demonstrations to partners, across the full portfolio of data protection and security products * Provide technical support and insight on discovery and roadmap calls * Work with Strategic Partner Managers to align Barracuda MSP Solutions with partner's requirements * Perform remote implementations with Barracuda MSP partners technical resource * Provide technical context in competitive comparison calls * Work closely with the sales team, informing and educating them of new product features and assisting them with any technical queries they have. REQUIREMENTS: * Native German Essential * Team player, high energy, positive attitude * Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment * Strong written and communication skills * A strong understanding of storage and/or Security across six threat vectors, email, users, remote users, networks, applications. * Excellent organisation skills and desire to deliver an outstanding service to our partners * Language skills: German & English, other languages would be highly beneficial * Experience in the Managed IT Services Channel market would be beneficial * Experience with automation, ticketing and/or professional services tools/ ISTM technology would be advantageous * Comfortable competing against multiple competitors * Experience as a pre-sales systems engineer or education in computer security and storage would be beneficial * Bachelor's degree would be beneficial The compensation is composed of base salary plus commission.
