Job Description
: Installation / Fabrication Specialist Location: Harrogate We have an immediate requirement for an experienced and organised Installation/Fabrication Technician to join our busy team. As well as supporting the installation and maintenance of mission systems racks and structural requirements, the successful candidate will be required to assist the shop lead in bespoke fabrications and modifications for a variety of site requirements. The shop also assists with installation, modification and maintenance requirements for some common areas and office spaces. Job Definition: Carry out the installation and removal of equipment racks Perform fabrication tasks as required Perform manual and mechanical handling of heavy loads in a safe manner Prepare raised floor panels for cable and air entry Follow all Fluor safety processes and procedures Principal Duties: Ensure all tasks are carried out in accordance with health and safety regulations Installation, relocation and the removal of system racks in accordance with site procedures and job specific plans Perform metal fabrication tasks as required Install, remove and modify raised flooring floor tiles Installation of cable management systems Maintain hand tools, portable power tools and fixed machinery Maintain and oversee workshop storage, supplies and storage staging areas Support the movement of materials by operating light duty vehicles and forklifts Follow and have a good understanding of all Fluor and site processes and procedures Daily verbal and written communications with various customers Perform other duties as directed Job ID: 123373BR City: Harrogate State: North Yorkshire Country: United Kingdom We reserve the right to modify or revise the job descriptions in part or in its entirety.
