Our client is the market leader in their field and is the go to organisation for the refurbishment manufacturing and installation of products used in commercial and residential buildings. As part of its strategy for growth there is an opportunity for a hands-on and experienced Installations Manager to join its leadership team. The Ideal Candidate Will have a well-established and proven record of managing installations within the building & construction sector (residential and commercial). You will be someone, who is still very keen to exercise their hands-on expertise and knowledge of the entire process of design, order, manufacturing and installation, whilst developing and sharing that enthusiasm and knowledge with others. This, combined with a record of strong colleague engagement and leadership skills, will enable the right candidate to create a self-made role, which will add significant value to an already established and successful company with plenty of scope for growth. The Role This company is all about team-work, so you will need to be able to demonstrate how you can develop and support teams to continually achieve the businesses objective in respect of delivering a 5 service through high quality installations . To succeed you will: · Ensure that the national installations teams have the necessary technical specification, plans and materials needed to complete the projects within agreed timescales and budgets. Ultimately ensuring that projects are completed to the highest standards and in line with agreed KPI’s and SLA’s. · Attend the sites and offer support to the supervisors and installers as required · Monitor and manage any H&S issues and queries · Ensure that the training and induction of new permanent installations team members is of a high standard (the company does not use subcontractors) · Build good relationships with customers by attending to any escalated queries or concerns throughout the project, who will, on completion and as an outcome of experiencing a 5 service, act as the company’s advocates, which in turn will help to grow the business. Most of the company’s business to date has grown because of great recommendations · Sign off completed works in line with company policies and procedures · Report into the senior management team, providing updates on field experience and activities in terms of project delivery, market intelligence and commercial insights Qualifications, Skills and Experience needed for success · IOSH or NEBOSH, SMSTS, Certification · On site Auditing experience and a valid CSCS Card · A full understanding of CDM Regulations 2015 · A clean UK driving licence. · Strong site awareness and practical working knowledge of construction sites · Have multi-site management experience · Be self-motivated and show the drive and determination to ensure that you deliver high standards of customer service at all times.
