The Role - Learning Mentor - Barking & Dagenha, We are looking for Learning Mentor to work in a Pupil Referral Unit which caters to students in KS2 - KS4. As a Learning Mentor you will be working closely with challenging behaviour, SEMH and ADHD. For the Learning Mentor role you will be required to provide 1:1 support in class and outside of classrooms. This Learning Mentor role is a long term contract and you will be required to work Monday to Friday Full Time. As a Learning Mentor you will help manage the child's behaviour as well as supporting them with their learning. As a Learning Mentor you will be a role model to these students and inspire them to reach their maximum potential. Physical Intervention or Team Teach training is highly desirable. The School - Learning Mentor - Barking & Dagenham This School is a well established Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) based in London borough of Barking & Dagenham. The School is opened to both Primary and Secondary Students (KS2-KS4). The Headteacher is seeking for strong, experienced Learning Mentor to work with students with Challenging Behaviour. Ideally you would have a previous experience working as a Learning Mentor or Behaviour Teaching Assistant in a School Setting. The Headteacher is highly supportive of staff's career and person development.
