Job Description
Business Systems Analyst | Lloyd's of London insurance | Permanent - 50K - 60K + bonus A global insurance company with a strong presence in the Lloyds market are looking for a highly skilled Business Systems Analyst to join their centralized IT division in 2019. This diverse and challenging role requires someone with demonstrable experience of managing underwriting and claims platforms along with a familiarity of SQL and relational databases. Responsibilities: * Support and maintenance of a number of core business applications * Carrying out the required configuration changes of the business applications * Supporting the Head of Operations and Change in the management of vendor lead change * Collaborate with the vendor and the project team to generate a clear technology and application roadmap * Ensuring users are granted appropriate access and that appropriate mitigation controls are in place to minimise operational risk * Capture and understand all BAU and Project requests for change/enhancements for the in scope applications - ensuring these are documented, tested and implemented with minimal impact to the business * Engage with the Business to understand priorities as needed * Rectify any issues or bugs in the in scope system in a timely manner * Assist in the Implementation and tracking/monitoring of SLA's and performance of the team to the Business * Escalate any technical or business risks to the appropriate teams and/or management * Timely and appropriate communications to stakeholders * Deliver support for projects and BAU work as needed by prioritising workload and effectively escalating where resource contention will impact delivery Essential Skills/Experience: * Insurance and underwriting/claims systems * Sequel Eclipse * SQL and a good understanding of relational databases * Lloyds of London insurance experience N.B. if you do not have the required domain experience (Lloyd's of London insurance), your application will not be considered.
