Company Description Precious Homes are looking for Support Workers to work in our Supported Living Service which is located in Chandos Road, Stratford E15 1TX We can offer flexible part time and full time contracts from 0 to 40 hours per week at 7.14 per hour Job Description The role of Support Worker can be challenging and demanding but also immensely rewarding. You will be working as part of a team and on an individual basis to support adults with learning difficulties to do everyday tasks throughout the day and night. Your role may mean you spend time helping our service user(s) find work on occasions or that you go for a leisurely stroll in the park with them. You will be responsible to help with intimate personal care of service users and complete daily records of activities. As our service users may need 24 hour support we ask that our Support Workers are flexible in working patterns across Monday to Sunday; including bank holidays and there are allocated sleep in duties each week. Qualifications It is a desirable criteria of the role that you have or are working towards a Level 2 Qualification or above in Health and Social Care. We will consider all applications and do provide training for members of our team. Please do mention if you have experience gained through work, as a volunteer or personal contact. Additional Information Successful applicants will need to undertake an enhanced disclosure check against the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS). If your certificate is registered to the update service you will be asked to provide a copy of the certificate at interview stage.
