Job Description
Imagine implementing complex software to some of the most recognisable brands whilst discussing gripping US drama. How about discussing Boris Johnson and Donald Trump with someone over the pond? How about driving the golden gate in San Francisco or playing Blackjack in Vegas a couple of times a year. The Company You will join a software solution provider and work with accounting/finance teams within massive household names. You will become an integral member of the collaborative and forwarding thinking implementation team (no Love Island discussions in sight), who adopt a very consultative approach to their business and customer base. Nearly all of the organisation's customers are outside of the UK (mostly America) so abroad travel (approximately 1-2 weeks a year) is expected but forget the monotonous M6 and M5 because UK travel will not be part of the role. You will work completely from home for the time being, and then 2/3 days from the office in Coventry or London when business is back to normal. The Role You will provide direction and guidance to clients on the best use of the organisation's products and services. You will translate functional business requirements into technical specifications, working closely with the development team. You will manage the full life cycle from scoping and gathering requirements, running workshops, configuring the software, implementation, training the users, go-live, and giving post-go-live support where required. Required skills/experience: * Commercial experience of software system implementation (systems would typically include ERP, SAP or Oracle but others not listed will be considered) * Able to demonstrate the ability to think logically and methodically: to think on your feet and problem solve * Experience, knowledge, or interest in finance or accounting. * Financial acumen - the software involves financial analysis and therefore you can't be afraid of numbers.
