Overview
Job Description
We are seeking a Clinic Manager who will be responsible for the operation and management of patient facing clinics, including a new, public facing, holistic, optical business, with a focus on the clinical training of final year optometry undergraduate students. The manager's role will be to ensure high quality clinical standards, administration of cash-flow, management of clinic personnel, efficient use of resources and customer service. The Department of Allied Health Professions, which belongs to the Facultyof Health and Applied Sciences, brings together specialists in the areas of Optometry, Diagnostic Imaging, Radiotherapy and Oncology, Occupational Therapy, Paramedic Science, Physician Associates, Physiotherapy and Sports Rehabilitation. The Department has strong links with various local, regional, national and international organisations and continues to identify and develop new educational and research opportunities. It is highly active in many areas of research and has established research projects attracting funding from both the UK and abroad.
