Health & Safety Manager £45,000 - £55,000 plus package Midlands based ideally but would consider NW or London with extensive travel Permanent An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Health & Safety Manager to one of the leading specialist rail principal contractors as the number 2 within the division and to be based across the central region with travel north and south. Birmingham would be the ideal base but the role will cover North West through to London. The role will manage a team of 6/7 SHE professional and be responsible for driving the company strategy through the division to site level. Rail experience is a must and to have a live PTS or previously held a PTS Card The Role: * Manage a team across multiple projects across a wide region * Proactively promote health & safety best practices across the division * Strong communication across all levels within the organisation * Assist in investigations or accidents, near misses, dangerous occurrences and other incidents * Be the expert in providing advice on Network Rail legislation across the division The Candidate: * Minimum 5 years' experience working in Health & Safety, rail experience at some point of career is a must * NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent minimum * Grad IOSH, working towards CMIOSH * Previous experience working managing a team and major projects * Previous experience working for a Principal Contractor would be a distinct advantage * Enthusiastic professional who is always looking to grow and progress in their SHE career Reference: PMu - 14798
