Job Description

We're recruiting a Band 5 Rotational Physiotherapist for our diverse and friendly services. We are predominantly based within Community settings across Knowsley, St Helens and Wigan to provide effective clinical support and opportunities for development. A willingness to travel and a flexible approach to working is required for this role. We provide a number of rotations covering all core areas of Physiotherapy and this is an excellent opportunity to develop your clinical expertise and your career within a wide range of settings including Intermediate Care, Early Stroke Discharge, Pulmonary Rehabilitation, Paediatrics, Mental Health and Musculoskeletal Services. We have a reciprocal agreement with Liverpool Heart & Chest NHS Foundation Trust by offering one of our rotational posts to a member of their staff in exchange for the opportunity for one of our band 5 rotational physiotherapists to complete a rotation in their organisation. This is a new venture and partnership that has been endorsed by the rotational staff across both organisations. Ideally you will have a strong commitment to rehabilitation and want to introduce innovative ideas across the service. You'll also be a team player, have strong communication skills and most importantly be committed to providing high quality patient care. The ability, means and willingness to travel between multiple sites in the course of performing duties is essential in this post. The role will involve regular travel across multiple sites in the North West Boroughs Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust catchment area. Therefore, the post holder must be able to meet the travel requirements of this post. Please indicate on your application how you meet this requirement. This post is subject to an enhanced with children's and adult's barred list Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) Check. Successful candidates will either have a valid DBS check with the Trust or will be required to pay for the cost of the DBS Disclosure which is 47.50 for an enhanced disclosure, the cost of which will be deducted from first salary.
