If so, we want to hear from you. North West Boroughs Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust delivers a Community Eating Disorder Service for Children and Young People comprised of a dedicated team of skilled professionals to work with children, young people and their families, presenting with an Eating Disorder to cover the Boroughs of Knowsley, St Helens, Warrington and Halton. Based from its hub in Knowsley, we offer evidence-based treatments to children and young people presenting with eating disorders, in addition to treating any co-morbid mental health difficulties, also with NICE recommended treatments. The aim of the service is to provide a comprehensive multi-disciplinary approach with all young people care, coordinated through this dedicated service. Integral to the model is an expectation for the continued development of the team and service as a whole, including participation in the National Whole Team ED training curriculum. We are looking for caring and committed therapists to participate in this service from establishment through to on-going development, as well as maintain their own clinical caseloads and engage in clinical and managerial supervision. This is a permanent contract in for 22.5 hours. Our service will operate between 8 am - 8 pm, Monday to Friday (currently 9am - 5pm).The successful post holder may be required to travel across all Boroughs. This post is subject to an enhanced with children's barred list Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) Check. Successful candidates will either have a valid DBS check with the Trust or will be required to pay for the cost of the DBS Disclosure which is 47.50 for an enhanced disclosure and 29.50 for a standard disclosure, the cost of which will be deducted from first salary.
