Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust offers a diverse education service to our staff and provides our international nurses with a training program to prepare for entry to the NMC register. To cover maternity leave within the team we are looking for a driven and enthusiastic clinical skills facilitator to work with us on a fixed term contract/secondment for a period of 12 months. PLEASE NOTE THAT THE START DATE FOR THIS POST WILL BE VARIABLE DUE TO COVID-19. To discuss this please feel free to contact the Clinical Skills Lead. The successful applicant will work with the support of the Clinical Skills Lead to develop, deliver and review clinical skills education across Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. This includes the development and delivery of our expanding OSCE preparation course for our international nurses and the provision and assessment of clinical skills and core competencies. We have dedicated simulation suites and are well equipped to deliver training in a variety of different ways. The post holder will work flexibly to ensure that the service meets current Trust priorities in line with our Trust values. You will also work in close collaboration with the wider Education Team, Clinical Matrons and the Patient Experience Lead to ensure that high quality, evidence based learning is delivered to all professional groups. The post holder will be a proactive, visible role model with excellent clinical credibility and excellent communication skills. We are a friendly and dynamic team with a clear vision for the future.
