Support Analyst / Support Programmer - ( PHP,MySQL applications) Support Analyst ( Business / Software Applications): Do you have an background in supporting web applications or software? Do you have a broad technical skillset looking to work with new technologies and looking for a new challenge? Are you passionate about technology, with a strong customer service ethos, with a background supporting Php, MySQL applications? The role can lead to a position as a Developer or even into Consultancy within the business. About the role: The Support Analyst / Consultant role will be office based in their Sutton Coldfield office, supporting customers using the company's software, in a 2nd line support role, building a strong technical awareness of the full technical skillset. Working closely with the other teams and developers, sharing knowledge and collectively resolving customer queries and documenting the process. The role will involve supporting distributed and web based applications written in PHP, MySQL. The role could develop into joining the development team or doing some on-site consultancy with customers implementing business applications. Key Responsibilities: * Support of various web based business applications written in PHP, MySQL * Provide quality assurance and resolving any queries * Prioritise, resolution of configuration and deployment issues * Documentation of the configuration process of the software products to help with further project implementation. * Updating User Support guides and expanding the Support Knowledge base * Root cause analysis * Any other related duties as required by the business, including analysis and advising the customer on best practice. Essential Technical Skills: Candidates must have some exposure to most of the technologies listed below: * Previous support experience of distributed or web based systems developed in PHP, MySQL * IIS & Web * Business Applications * Microsoft technologies * Data Analysis Benefits (Negotiable) * Basic salary of up to 30k on offer * Pension * Healthcare * 25 Days holiday Candidates who have some programming experience with PHP ( from University or self-taught will also be considered for the role, as training will be given.
