Product Manager Manchester Barclays are hiring a Product Manager based in Manchester within CSO. If this sounds of interest, please read on! What will you be doing? The purpose of the role is to cooperate with Security Operations (mainly Cyber) teams to identify and investigate intrusions, evolve collection strategies, to support in implementation of new technical controls (Security/Cyber) Develop a strong understanding of security tooling (commercial off-shelf) and support the development team in configuring the tool to meet the security team's requirements Understand user requirements to help drive the vision for various security products and design solutions to meet the department strategy for various range of security tooling e.g. endpoint protection, IDS/IPS, SIEM and threat intelligence Collaborate with the Data and insights team to decode data to support the design detection for malicious activity in log data, network traffic or on endpoints Coordinate the implementation of technical development from red and blue teams (e.g. collaborating with a reverse engineer to implement a configuration decoder for a malware family, integrating a new data source to a TI platform, automating the provision of VMs and domains etc. for an adversary simulation engagement). Support the end-to-end integration for our security stack (e.g. ad-hoc collection scripts, malware sandboxes, Yara/OpenIOC distribution, sinkholes etc.) What we're looking for: Maintaining a general understanding of open source and commercial red and blue team tooling Eagerness to get stuck in and help out with analysis on threat intel and incident response engagements in order to inform future technology requirements Experience with requirements translation and analysis Experience of analytical tools and capabilities used in a Cyber Intelligence functions such as Maltego or MISP, Splunk, and Elastic Deep understanding of the Cyber Kill Chain and the Diamond model and how they apply to threat intelligence. Skills that will help you in the role: Experience in Python, JavaScript, SQL, NoSQL (Elastic, Mongo), PowerShell desired Experience in Operating systems specifically Unix Agile methodology qualification Business analysis qualification Where will you be working?
