Job Description

Senior Business Development This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious and energetic Business Development Manager to lead the international expansion of the sales of our ground-breaking in-car air cleaning device, the 'product' and make a real impact. You will be working with an exciting mix of consumers as well as corporate clients, marketing professionals, scientists and engineers, medical specialists and sustainability and CSR professionals. The goal is to drive rapid sales growth through an effective sales and distribution strategy. Selling: Sign 'bricks & mortar' and online retailers and negotiate terms of business. Negotiate commercial deals and prepare client contracts, device client finance schemes. Manage, support and train members of your team, develop entry level staff into valuable salespeople. Have a good understanding of the businesses' products and services and be able to advise others about them. Channel management and Marketing: Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers. Build strong relationships with industry professionals and influencers: The goal is to drive rapid sales growth through an effective sales and distribution strategy. Identify, select, set up and manage international distributors. Understand the needs of customers and users and convey these effectively to the rest of the organisation. Provide inputs into the promotional strategy and activities and work constructively with the marketing department. Contribute to the professional reputation of the organisation. Commercial management and Strategy: Plan, develop and oversee the overall business development strategy. Identify new business opportunities - including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, products and services. Keep abreast of trends and changes in the market. Determine key business development KPIs. Implement lead generation process. Organise after-sales support and monitor and manage its performance. Set up, maintain and develop customer records. Work closely together with the finance team, warehousing and logistics departments. Requirements At least 5 years of experience in leading business development and sales management, both in B2B and B2C sectors Experience in international distributor management and senior level corporate account management Experience in penetrating into B2C retailers 2 Proven sales track record Experience with customer support systems Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software (e.g. Salesforce) Proficiency in English, other European languages are a plus Relevant market knowledge: consumer healthcare or wellbeing products, fleet driver performance systems and methods Understanding of workplace regulations and legislation and concept of 'duty of care' Prior exposure to the insurance industry is a plus Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills BSc/BA in business administration, sales or equivalent Benefits Salary: £55K to £65K plus car, plus uncapped commission program. Work from home but with regular meeting in Baker Street office (London)
