Are you registered health care professional with experience of Infection Prevention and Control? Looking for a new challenge to use your skills and knowledge in a new organisation? If so, this could be exactly what you have been waiting for! My name is Jyoti and I am the Head of Infection Prevention and Control at Avon and Wiltshire Mental Health Partnership NHS Trust. I am a registered general nurse and responsible for providing IPC leadership and guidance within the Trust in the current fast paced environment. Further to recent directorate review, I am recruiting to the post of Infection Prevention and Control Lead (Band 6) 1.0 WTE permanent post within the Nursing and Quality Directorate. I am looking for a credible, passionate and enthusiastic registered nurse or AHP with demonstrable knowledge and experience in Infection Prevention and Control. Ideally you should have experience of managing and dealing with Infection Prevention and Control issues, participating in audit and surveillance with experience of supporting change management. The successful candidate will be based at either Bath NHS House, Bath or Callington Road Hospital, Bristol but will need to work flexibly to meet the needs of the whole Trust and this will include some cross site working.
