Job Description
BI Manager - Reading - 60-70k A well-known construction company based in Reading are looking to recruit a Senior level BI Manager to head up their expanding BI and Data Analytics team. The Role This position involves leading a small team of BI Developers to create innovate BI and Reporting solutions required by the business. You must ensure that your team is working to all best practice procedures and completing work to the highest standard. Along with leading this team, you will work closely with a partner consultancy who have been implementing the latest reporting and cloud solutions within the organisation. Your key focus will be to work closely with the CTO and the CEO to create a Data Strategy and plan the continuous development of the company's BI and Data Analytical systems. This company has the aim to become fully self-sufficient in its BI and Data reporting needs, you will be key in ensuring this aim is met. Further, you should be prepared to be the the technical guru when meeting with C-level individuals within the company and able to demonstrate the commercial benefit of your BI/Data strategy to stakeholders. This will be an extremely challenging and varied role - you will be expected to hit the ground running! You To be a good fit for this role you should have excellent communication skills and be happy to work both independently and as part of a dynamic team. You should have experience in a similar strategy-focused position and be confident dealing with colleagues at all levels of the business. This position is ideal for someone who has a hands-on technical background but after a recent strategy focused position is now looking to take the next step as a hands-off BI Manager. As such, you should have excellent experience with SQL Server, across the MS BI Stack, and with the latest data visualisation technology and cloud solutions.
