Description Priocept is a technology consultancy that helps businesses to create digital products and services. We design, build and run web technology platforms for some of Europe's leading companies. Priocept consultants and software developers can expect to be involved in projects covering general software engineering, cloud infrastructure, e-commerce, content management, mobile applications, and web services. Priocept are searching for candidates with the drive and ambition to help our organisation grow. Requirements As a .NET developer you will work as part of a small, agile team that is responsible for delivering solutions using the Microsoft .NET framework. Day-to-day you will take ownership of a number of projects for our key clients. In addition to this you will have the freedom to shape the way that we build .NET applications and to input into improvements to our overall development processes. Priocept is looking to recruit software engineers that can demonstrate expertise in a wide range of Microsoft development technologies. Commercial .NET development experience on web-based projects would be a bonus. Core skills we are looking for are: * C#, SQL Server, ASP.NET MVC and Web Forms, WCF and REST web services * HTML5, CSS3/SASS, JavaScript * CMS technologies (Sitefinity, Sitecore, EPiServer, Umbraco or Kentico) Other nice-to-have attributes include: * Exposure to non-Microsoft technologies (e.g. Java, Ruby, Python) * Understanding of DevOps concepts and tools (continuous integration and continuous delivery, cloud infrastructure, infrastructure-as-code and configuration management) * Experience of designing and developing solutions on cloud platforms (Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud Platform or Microsoft Azure) * Experience of Ansible, Puppet, Chef, PowerShell or similar * Experience working in a consultancy or agency environment * Technical writing skills and experience in creating analysis, design and technical planning documents * Ability to contribute to high-level technical design and software architecture * Excellent written and verbal communication and good client-facing skills * Educational background in maths, engineering, or computer science Benefits In return, Priocept can offer: * Competitive salary with frequent reviews (not limited to a yearly review process) * Start-up culture in a profitable, established business * Uncapped investment in training where justifiable.
