Job Description
This is an exciting new post within Chailey Clinical Services (CCS) for an enthusiastic, motivated and highly skilled Clinical Nursing Lead for Respiratory Care working clinically for 80% of the time with children and young people with complex healthcare needs. The post holder will play a key role in providing vision, inspirational professional leadership and direction whilst delivering high quality care in the field of Respiratory Care. They will provide high level support and specialist advice to all staff through direct care, discussion, and clinical supervision of practitioners, enabling the provision of person-centred care for people with respiratory requirements and their families. They will support the vision and strategic leadership in the field of respiratory care across the Trust and demonstrate excellent clinical practice to develop practice across the CCS teams. This post is a clinical leadership role within CCS, hosted within the Residential School Nursing Team (RSNT) but working across all areas of CCS including Chailey Rehabilitation and Transition (CRTS) and our short break provision, providing clinical support to all the children and young people accessing our clinical services.
