Head Chef The Causeway Hotel located on the Giants Causeway UNESCO World heritage site and owned by the National Trust is now seeking a Head chef. We are looking for a highly skilled culinary professional, who manages and leads a team of chefs. The story of this beautiful Grade 2 listed building begun in 1836 by Miss Elizabeth Henry, construction of The Causeway Hotel created the first place for travellers to stay overlooking the famous stones. What you'll be doing as a Head Chef This is a rare opportunity to join our hotel. You will be responsible for the consistent preparation of innovative and creative cuisine of the highest quality, presentation and flavour for the dining room, banquets and other food operations, resulting in outstanding guest satisfaction. Everyday is different but this role will involve the following; * As a Head Chef you will be providing direction for all day to day kitchen operations * Train, develop and motivate team to exceed food standards * Ensure Culinary standards and responsibilities are achieved * Responsible for seasonal menu development and improving kitchen standards * Ensure all HACCP and Health and safety regulations & Audits are adhered to * Review staffing levels to ensure that guest service, operational needs and financial objectives are met * Responsible for budgeting, forecasting and ordering of all kitchen products * Interact with Food and Beverage department on training regarding food knowledge and menu composition * Attend exhibitions, competitions and other meetings as required.
