Job Description
The gohenry Technology team is adding a Mobile App Developer role focusing on a new area of strategic growth for the business. The candidate will be responsible for understanding the requirements proposed by the Product teams and develop those functionalities in our existing cross-platform Mobile App that has been developed using the Corona SDK (now also known as Solar2D) and the APIs developed by our back-end team. The candidate will need to establish close partnership with all the teams in the business to ensure successful releases. What you will do Your key responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to: * Work closely with the Product teams and develop a deep understanding of requirements and functionality that they would like to implement * Work closely with our existing Mobile App development team to develop and implement required functionality within our framework and quality standards * Research and recommend solutions as and when necessary What we are looking for * Computer Science degree required * At least 2 years proven experience in writing Mobile App using the cross-platform Corona SDK framework (Business Apps preferable but Gaming App developers will also be considered). * Strong experience in developing Mobile App with APIs (SOAP/Rest, XML, JSON) * Proven experience in releasing Mobile App to both iOS and Android * Experience in Flutter is a strong plus * Have a very good understanding of back-end, web and mobile app technology in a demanding consumer environment * Strong team player, ability to work in cross-functional teams with marketing, product, design, engineering, operations and partners What we are offering * Competitive salary, working full-time hours * We support flexible and remote working * Free tea, coffee and loads of fruit * Workplace pension scheme * 25 days paid holiday a year * Westfield Cash Health Plan * Westfield Surgery Plan after 3 years service * Westfield Perks * Training opportunities to further develop your craft * Choose your own equipment About gohenry Were on a mission to make every kid good with money.
