This is an exciting opportunity to join Vertiv in our Product Sales Team with responsibility for regional & finance market sales which also includes key accounts and flow business activity. In this role you would be responsible for selling Thermal Management solutions (Precision Cooling/Chillers/DFU and UFU's). Establish Vertiv as a supplier of choice in its key financial, Data Centre and Building services sector markets. Main Purpose of Job The main purposes of the job are: * To identify, develop and sell Thermal Management products from Vertiv Product Portfolio (Precision Cooling/Chillers/DFU and UFU's) and solutions to specific key/vertical sector markets. * To establish Vertiv as a supplier of choice in its key financial, Data Centre and Building services sector markets. * To secure order intake individually and to co-ordinate sales/marketing support activity where appropriate from within the area sales team. To grow Vertiv's share of key market sector business. Key Activities/Objectives * Work with key End User Customers, Consultant/Specifiers and Contracting companies. Approach key customers to qualify, promote and establish Vertiv as a supplier of choice. * Manage prospecting, presentation, bid submission, follow up and closing requirements. Develop supply chain, frame agreement and partner relationships as appropriate. Target and develop key customer players, engineers & managers working in procurement, supply-chain, design, project and facilities management areas. * Undertake/co-ordinate presentations to key customers. To include organisational capabilities, technical and value add presentations. Develop relationships with key players; map/identify opportunity and enquiry potential. * Work with customers, areas sales team and sales support group to establish, determine and prepare most effective/competitive bids/solutions in response to enquiry. * Progress, follow and work to close enquiry/secure order intake. Work with and support others to secure key sector order intake. * Develop industry knowledge and establish ongoing key customer relationships to position and promote Vertiv as a supplier of choice. * Lead and work with the marketing and sales support teams to increase market share in key sector areas. Identify, lead and work with the organisation to develop new sector opportunity. * Provide, present and maintain information, reports and CRM data as appropriate. We are looking for someone with effective individual with transactional and major account sales experience. Someone who is commercially and technically aware, solutions based analytical thinker. Demonstrable sales and marketing skills/understanding. * Qualifications: HNC/HND/BSc level Engineering preferred. * Aptitudes: Effective individual with transactional and major account sales experience.
