What we're looking for: We've got an exciting new opportunity in Green Flag to join us as an Area Service Delivery Manager. We already have Area Service Delivery Managers at DLG but this post is a little different. We're looking for someone to take responsibility for the end-to-end customer journey and help us drive forward our mission to make Green Flag not just a roadside rescue brand, but a motorist one! You'll be an experienced people manager with a background in working with a multitude of suppliers. Commercially driven and a creative thinker, you'll have knowledge of product development and implementation with the ability to think strategically. Our Service Delivery strategy is a core building block of our purpose to protect customers in their time of need and get them back on the road as quickly as possible in a smart connected way. As part of that we are looking to strengthen our Service Delivery Team. What you'll be doing: * Manage and develop a team to deliver performance * Achieve and exceed customer metrics by ensuring that the customer experience is at the heart of everything we do, and ensuring customers are treated fairly at all times through the outsourced supplier network * Control and review operational cost and income * Support the Customer Solutions teams to meet the customer requirements including where needed out of normal business hours * Ensure appropriate capacity and resources are present in the Rescue and Motorist Brand footprint across all requirements, and suitable proactive plans are in place where necessary. * Identify, own and manage the risks involved in running our business, interacting with the appropriate internal and external contacts. Ensuring opportunities and threats are managed proactively and in line with the Group Risk Framework minimum standards. * Lead, develop and use appropriate judgement to deliver excellent performance through your team, in line with the Direct Line Group values and strategy.
