If you're looking for a new opportunity, and want to join the world's greatest football family, we are currently looking to recruit a full time Chef de Partie, based at our Melwood Training Ground. The Role: As a Chef de Partie at Liverpool Football Club, you will be required to support the Head Chef with the day to day running of the kitchen operation, this will include stock control and ordering, menu planning and maintaining a safe and clean working environment. In this role you will also have the following responsibilities: * Prepare and cook foods of all types, on a regular basis and for special guests or functions * Review systems and procedures in the kitchen to ensure an effective operation * Develop and design new menus and recipes based on standards or artistic contributions * Knowledge of high-quality food products, presentations and flavour * Supervision of kitchen shift operations * Ensure procedures for food & beverage portion and waste controls are adhered to * Develop and implement environmentally friendly processes and procedures for food preparation, energy use and waste management in the restaurant * Ensure all production deadlines are met * Ensure compliance with all relevant Club policies, including health, safety and hygiene * To ensure compliance with all relevant legal, regulatory, ethical and social requirements * To keep strictly confidential any information gained regarding the Club and its personnel * To maintain a flexible approach to work at all times The Person The successful candidate for this role will have good interpersonal and communication skills, excellent knowledge and experience of working in a kitchen as well as the ability to work well under pressure whilst maintaining their professionalism at all times. T&C: This is a permanent position working 40 hours per week on a 5 out of 7day basis - flexibility is essential as some weekend work will be required.
