Further details about the Faculty can be found at www.uwe.ac.uk/et About you: We are looking to appoint a new member of the team with contemporary experience on Built Environment Standards to organise and undertake training (employer, apprentice and assessor) assessments and to provide progress reports in line with university and governmental policies. There will be an expectation that the assessor will undertake tripartite assessment for other apprenticeship routes as required in the future. It is anticipated that the successful candidate will have a high level of experience on different aspects of degree apprenticeship both on operation and quality assurance e.g. pre- assessment, creating training plan and assessing the apprentice progress working closely with academic team and employers. The knowledge of off-the-job training and funding rules is essential. Applicants must additionally hold a recognised assessor qualification and have an understanding of undergraduate and postgraduate degree apprenticeship and their differences from L3, 4 and 5 qualifications. Based at Frenchay Campus this post is permanent and full time and not available on a job share basis. This post does not qualify for sponsorship under the UK Visas and Immigration Tier 2 points based system therefore we would not be able to obtain a tier 2 Biometric Residence Permit and would be unable to sponsor anyone who does not have their own right to work in the UK. Please refer to the Home Office Right to Work Checklist which provides details of which documents are acceptable. Should you be shortlisted you will be asked to bring your right to work documents with you to your interview so they can be copied and verified at that stage. Please note that the recruitment system will be temporarily unavailable from Friday 11th October AM until Monday 14th October AM due to routine maintenance.
