The Corporate Accounts Assistant Manager role within Real Estate Accounting Services (REAS) requires day to day management of a team providing corporate accounting services to a portfolio of investment clients, and working with the Senior Management team to ensure best practice is applied in all aspects of the team. Role & Responsibilities * Review of bespoke reporting based on client requirements for a variety of clients (UK and Channel Island Limited Partnerships, Unit Trusts, Limited Companies, Limited Liability Partnerships which invest in property) including but not limited to: monthly / quarterly management accounts; annual / interim standalone and consolidated financial statements in accordance with IFRS and FRS 102; VAT and CIS returns; loan covenant, cashflow and dividend calculations; and NAV calculations on acquisitions and disposals of entities * Liaising with HM Revenue and Customs on behalf of clients * Highlighting potential process improvements and assist with the development of enhanced financial reporting for our existing clients and offer to new clients, continually looking to improve and add value and working with your accounting Associate Director to implement-Reduce aged debt through pro-active collection techniques * Responsible for daily staff management within your team, including recruitment, induction, setting objectives, appraisals, team meetings, training, compliance, performance management with support from your accounting Associate Director * Responsible for developing and maintaining regular engagement with clients both external and internal Skills & Qualifications * Good IT skills (Word, Excel, MS Outlook). - Any experience in MS Dynamics AX would be advantageous * Flexible approach to travel arrangements to client or CBRE offices within the UK * Thorough understanding of financial and management accounting * A professional accounting qualification e.g. CA or ACCA is essential with at least 2 years post qualified experience * Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines * Preferably an understanding of overseas VAT transactions * Track record of completing and managing the delivery of SPV subsidiary and consolidated accounts * Strong analytical and problem solving skills Benefits * Work for company listed in the Top 25 Linkedin Companies & Top 250 in Fortune 500 * Work for a company that offer Fantastic and unrivalled progression opportunities * Salary of 35-42,000 (Depending on experience) * BACK TO YOU - New return ship programme no matter what length of career break you have had Apply Now
