We are looking for a superstar internal auditor to become a senior member of the Risk and Assurance Team and who is excited about the opportunity of helping our business to the next level. The role will report to the Head of Risk and Assurance. Responsibilities * Designing and delivering annual audit plan * Reviewing and designing audit methodology and framework aligned with international internal audit standards and best practice * Performing hands on end-to-end audits and assurance activities addressing financial, operational and technology risk across the business, utilising the co-source internal audit resource where required * Preparing internal audit reports and delivering findings to key stakeholders and governance bodies * Developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders and to facilitate changes to improve the controls environment * Working with external auditors to ensure that there is a joined up approach to audit / assurance activities and monitoring of the control environment * Supporting the wider Risk and Assurance Team on assurance activities as required * Developing and enhancing assurance frameworks and activities across the organisation Experience or attributes * Big4 audit experience with at least 5 years PQE * Fully Qualified ACA/ACCA/IIA/CIMA, additional IT audit qualifications preferred * Extensive audit experience at a large international business, payment services experience advantageous * Excellent working knowledge of UK regulation and key areas of regulatory focus from FCA * Proven leadership qualities with ability to build credibility at the highest levels of the organisation * Extensive skill and experience in effectively presenting complex information to senior executives * Excellent written and verbal communication * Self-motivated and hands-on approach to working; able to work in a fast paced, dynamic, start-up environment and be able to operate with ambiguity What's in it for you...? * Life assurance of 3 times your salary, should the worst happen. * Pension scheme offering 8% matched contributions. * Private medical and dental care plans. * 25 days of holiday plus bank holidays, rising to 28 after 3 years. * Free breakfast and fruit every day and Friday 'afternoon tea' drinks and nibbles. * No formal dress code And finally...
