Job Description
As the Food and Beverage Manager you report directly to the Commercial Manager and will be directly responsible for every aspect of our Food and Beverage operation. You will work closely with the Head Chef to ensure all of our visitors are delighted by the food and drink they are served whilst ensuring the experience every visitor receives whilst with us is of outstanding quality. Every item we sell contributes to our conservation work and by ensuring that we maximise our gross profit we can continue to look after our special places forever for everyone. This is a full time role and is one of our key department leads. You will have a passion for food, a hunger for leading and developing a large team and a thirst for delivering great results and exceeding customer's expectations! What you'll be doing You'll be managing our 900k+ turnover catering operation with it's four diverse outlets. The Pavilion, the hub of the operation, with its traditional NT offering, Magnolia tea room in the adjacent Garden Centre, the Dell Kiosk in the heart of the Garden by the river with a seasonal menu, and pop-up outlets such as the ice cream bike and 'teas on the terrace'. Pro-actively managing the staff team over these outlets, responding to 'busy' when we'll welcome almost 4,000 visitors daily, will be key to the success of the operation. As well as keeping our KPIs on target you'll be liaising with the events and garden team to maximise commercial opportunities and provide an exciting and high-quality service to our visitors.
