The Product Manager works with future, current and legacy Power Electronic Converter Technology and Standard Building Block for Power, Control, Protection Hardware & Software [hereafter referred to as "PEC-Tech"] offered by Electrical Drive-Train (EDT) into the Offshore wind turbine platforms. The Product Manager is responsible for the entire life-cycle of the PEC-Tech from concept to end-of-life. A large proportion of the work will also be related to planned new product, as well as responsibility for maintenance of legacy, PEC-Tech. The role includes detailed technical involvement in all aspects of the business from development proposal, presentation to management/platforms, internal reviews and NPI as required. The job may also involve liaising with external parties, such as component/subassembly suppliers. What you need to make a difference A passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change. We are also looking for... * You to have achieved a Masters with relevant industry experience in an R&D/product engineering environment, where you have pushed the boundaries of your organisations' technical knowledge. * You have an excellent knowledge of power electronics and appreciate the operational requirement of your application, * A proven track record of implementing your power electronics in industrial applications. * Excellent written and verbal communication in English In case you have acquired your skills in alternative ways your application is just as well appreciated.
