Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust Clinical or Counselling Psychologist, Band 7 0.8WTE, Temporary Post (12 months Maternity Locum Post) London Borough of Bromley We are seeking to recruit a Clinical or Counselling Psychologist , to join a friendly and creative secondary care multi-disciplinary team working with Anxiety, Depression, Personality and Trauma (ADAPT Team) in the London Borough of Bromley. This post is a 12 month Maternity Locum, to cover a permanent role whilst the existing post-holder is on maternity leave. The post will be based in the ADAPT West Team, based at Beckenham Beacon (when social distancing measures permit) as well as remote working at times. The post holder will take a caseload of cases to be seen for psychological treatment in that team, both individual and group. At the current time many of these are being offered online during the coronavirus pandemic. Other duties will involve psychological assessment, taking part in team reflective practice, receiving clinical supervision, and providing specialist advice on psychological treatment to members of the team. The main models in the team are integrative, psychodynamic, mentalisation-based, and schema-based therapies, together with some EMDR and mindfulness groups, and we also support a programme of brief psycho-educational, group-based interventions within the team.
